What you need

All you need to run Tagtool is an iPad. For the full Tagtool experience with multiplayer and projection, you'll need the following ingredients.

iPad

Tagtool runs on iPadOS 12 or later. For the best experience, use a recent iPad model.

Wifi

For collaborative sessions, all iPads need to join the same wireless network.

Projector

Connect a projector or TV with an AV adapter, or stream over AirPlay.

Tagtool Versions

The basic version of Tagtool for iPad is free. When you’re ready to move on to the full Tagtool experience, you can upgrade to Pro. The desktop version is currently available as a preview, and is useful for hosting multiplayer sessions on a PC or Mac.

Tagtool Pro

Tagtool SE

The same as Tagtool Pro, packaged so schools can purchase using Apple School manager.

Currently only available as a beta version. Use a PC or Mac as a server for multiplayer sessions.

Tagtool Pro and SE have the same feature set. Tagtool Desktop is a software preview for PC and Mac operated using mouse and keyboard, so all multitouch functionality is limited.
